Before You Get Started...
Getting Started
1. Dry-fit your Grille overlay by following the instructions below without removing the backing to the 3M double-sided tape. Ensure the part is centered, and make note of its positioning for reference later.
2. Clean the surface of the fog lamp bezel using isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
3. Apply the adhesion promoter to the areas of the fog lamp bezel where the 3M tape will be touching down. (Read the instructions on the adhesion promoter tube to learn how to begin the flow of adhesion promoter.)
4a. Now we handle the 3m tape. For the long strip on the top, take you exacto knife and slit the center of the top exterior piece in half. Pull back each side of the split 1" and wrap it around to the front of the overlay for access later, securing it in place with masking tape.
4b. For the remaining exterior pieces of tape, wrap the edges around to the front 1" and secure in place with masking tape.
4c. Completely remove all interior strips of 3m tape from the overlay.

5. Now it's time for the install. Carefully align the overlay with your grille and ensure you are happy with it's position. Apply pressure to the part from one side to the other so the interior 3m tape will secure in place.
6. Remove all pieces of exposed 3m. Begin with the center, remove your masking tape and peel back the 3m, applying pressure as you go. Repeat this process for all remaining pieces of 3m tape.
*Only if you have it* Remove the protective film from your Grille Overlay.

Care for your BumperShellz™
Most BumperShellz colors will function much like paint. They can be buffed, polished, taken through automated car washes, and whatever else you would normally do. Some ABS colors can be sanded down and re-painted if ever you decide you want to change colors. The only color that cannot be polished, and re-painted is the Textured Black TPO.
