Heritage of Innovation- A Message from CEO Darin Evans

Thank you for your interest in ecoological. The vision for ecoological has been a long-time dream of mine: to bring innovative products to market that not only enhance your life but also respect and protect our shared environment. Our name, ecoological, encapsulates our mission—to create ecologically and economically friendly solutions that address common challenges while contributing to the sustainability of our beautiful planet. I hope you find our products as “cool” as we do!
Our products are designed with logic and practicality in mind, offering well-engineered solutions to everyday frustrations. Many of our innovations stem from personal experiences—problems we've encountered and wanted solved. These are the kinds of challenges that often prompt creative, DIY solutions, but perhaps you’ve been searching for a permanent, refined answer. If so, you’ll find our products are the result of careful thought, real-world testing and a lot of time and care put into every single item we manufacture
Here are some of the industries eccological is breaking into:
Automotive Aftermarket – We’re developing products to improve your driving experience, adding functionality and personality to your vehicle while reducing its environmental impact.
Home Improvement – Our products aim to save you time and effort with everyday household tasks, so you can spend more time doing what you love. Additionally, ecoological products extend the life of things you already own, helping you save money and reduce waste by decreasing the need for replacements.
We hope that you will look to ecoological for solutions that simplify and enhance your life. If you don’t find what you're looking for, but think others might share the same frustration, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a description or a photo of the challenge, and we’ll explore ways to develop a solution!
Before founding ecoological, I spent over 22 years in the automotive industry, specializing in creating innovative solutions that advanced the development of new products. I’ve had the privilege of working with renowned companies like Dow Chemical and GE Plastics, where I contributed to the creation of lightweight, energy-efficient automotive components. Some of my notable achievements include first-to-market products such as plastic body ride-on lawn mowers, electric mobility vehicles, and monocoque-style structural instrument panels for cars and trucks.
In December 2000, I founded NetShape, a company focused on impact energy management and lightweight construction for automotive products. These innovations helped reduce environmental impact by decreasing vehicle weight, while simultaneously improving occupant and pedestrian safety. I have been awarded over 50 patents for my contributions to the industry. Under my leadership, NetShape grew into a premier Tier One supplier of lightweight automotive safety products and structures. In 2012, I sold NetShape to move closer to family in California and to pursue the creation of ecoological.
